First time seeing dolphins on TV a picture or magazine made us smile! Each moment was always a happy time, to be welcomed by the Angels of the Sea. That’s a feeling you cannot explain by word of mouth. A must see experience!

The winds and waves became our only friends. Only 4 more hours to go, before land appears.

Then it happened  a thump thump on starboard side under the boat. I was catching up on rest after 48 hrs sail nonstop.

Usually  the loung area is my bed on sailing voyages. Thump Thump Swoosh this sound was quite noticable.

My first Thought was the Captain maybe taking a swim! Or a peice of drift wood had found us in the lonely sea. The sound stopped a few minutes, then it start again. As I sit up on the sofa, hearing the captain shouting ” Hey Hello ” and he was clapping at the same time. What was I to think?  My heart beating faster than normal, coming out to the cockpit, no one is steering the boat.

What could be going on? Dolphins caught the captain attention, mesmerized by the life and joy of the Sea Angels. I remembered as a child how my grandfather talked about dolphin encounters when sailing in the Bahamas waters. He said whistle to the dolphins and they Will come to you. Blow Kisses and they jump out the water to say hello.

These dolphins did exactly the same when I whistle and blow kisses. We even talked to them. See for Yourself!
