My Life without Music πŸŽΆ

What would your life be like without music?

Its difficult to think about life without music, hearing music before being born.

Growing up in a home with a father that was a musical preacher man. I had many opportunities to play instruments sing songs which was apart of my daily life.

My 6 siblings also played instruments in the home and at church. Dancing became a soothing habit for me🌹

As I grew old enough to  leave home, still music followed me. I became a youth choir director for two years which was a joy to experience.

Remembering a time there was no music and only silence for one year in 2013 it felt lonely without music, a feeling took over me. While listening to natures music, birds, water falls, raindrops, wind whistles,Β  traffic, footsteps, door slams, snoring sleepers, somethings you could not excape from became my music.

I begin to write songs and play the guitar, falling in love again with the feeling of music, I believe my life would never be without music.

  1. I had a music teacher who focused on music theory and recorder – not like Dr. Dawson and other Doctors of Music who taught me alto saxophone. This teacher always emphasized protecting his hearing. Thank you for sharing
